Airbnb is overall a good site where we can find places according to our budget to spend time during vacations. I have used it few times and i am happy with results. It is user friendly as it is very easy to get place on rents they are within our budget! It has a good rating, before going on a trip i saw its reviews and they were pretty good so i decided to go with it and I was really good with the results! The hotel services are also nice but there is a limitation to it that is while staying in hotel you can not explore more, but rental home is a good option as it is cheap and you can explore more and more!!

I have used Airbnb and have nothing but great things to say. Pretty straightforward service to use and it will generally save you money. If you prefer the idea of staying in a home and not some hotel or motel for that matter, then definitely look at Airbnb as an option. You will find that the conditions are better and you’re not sharing your holiday with a bunch of guests. I have found I can save money utilising kitchens rather than every meal being in a restaurant. When you take that into account, the savings can really add up. Bit of negative press recently over a couple of people that did the wrong thing in someone’s place, but I think you’ll find that’s extremely rare and the media have just jumped on it for their own purposes. Definitely give it a go, nothing to lose in my book.

Airbnb has many listings where there is no automatic reservation - many of them if not most of them are that way. Hosts did not respond to me in a timely manner if at all. This would result in having to wait for a day or two and then cancel your request if there is no response. Then you must send a request to another host.
The website allows you to send requests to multiple hosts at once but if two accept your reservation you still pay fees if you cancel one. This is a major flaw as far as I am concerned. I am not very impressed with this site.

I booked a trip with Airbnb earlier this year and found the service and user-friendly nature of the site to be exceptional. I also felt reassured by the reviews and feedback left by other guests for the hosts that I was considering staying with. I was also very surprised at the wide range of accommodation available, and that the tiny town I was looking to stay at in Wales had several different options available. I definitely feel that Airbnb offers travellers a unique experience that they could not find on more mainstream travel booking sites like Expedia and Booking.com, so yes, I would highly recommend the service to a friend or family member. 9/10.

I love Airbnb, I use it all the time. It is my first stop whenever I plan a trip! I have met so many friends from all around the world using this awesome service that I just can’t describe it. I would highly recommend Airbnb to tourist, backpackers, and even families and professionals who are interested in cutting costs. It adds a lot of depth to the experience of traveling in my opinion and really plugs you into the local community so much more than standard ways of getting from point A to point B. It is one of the best ideas on the Internet in a long time and I can’t wait to plan my next trip and see who I meet!

I have used airbnb a few times and I love how easy it is to find the perfect place to stay when traveling abroad. I rented a place in Scotland and I was pressed at how closely the room was to what I had seen on the site. I was a little nervous staying in a place above the owner, but she was a pleasure to deal with and we enjoyed our stay. It was so easy to rent the room and airbnb were exactly right in how responsive the owner would be. I knew the price, the deposit amount, and any other fees before I paid. I was able to compare places easily and I know that I got a good deal.

I have never used the service but it is a fantastic idea and an amazingly well-designed website. It really takes the idea of “couch surfing” to a much higher level. I also think it is a fantastic platform for travelers and people of different cultures and nationalities to get to know each other. Very good idea and very well implemented.

I have not yet rented a place to stay using Airbnb, but I plan on doing so very soon. We are planning a trip to Germany within the next year and I want to visit Boeblingen, Germany (My first duty station). I went through the site last week looking for places to stay in Boeblingen, Germany and I am already loving this site. What I love about the site is that there are pictures. pictures, and more pictures. The listing gives me information about the space, amenities, prices, and I get to see the reviews on the same page. I do not have to guess on anything. If there is a deposit required, I can see how much and what is the minimum stay. Any house rules are listed and the calendar is just a click away. I can even save a place that I like to my wish list. There is no doubt my wish list will fill up very quickly.
